The whole city screams his name. Even when it’s quiet, it’s like an earworm scraping against my skull. That deadbeat. The only runaway dad who made more money than probably you, me, and your former boss combined. Lunar League Baseball contracts. Hah. Half the city’s damn economy. And growing up, we never saw a single centavo.
I’m not even in it for what Wrench is paying me. Jackie’s not gonna escape me this time. If I can’t rise to his level, I’ll drag that parásito down to mine. Just gotta meet this dogtagged goon and get the gears rolling.
